4 - Bag Return System and Reusable Bags

1- Customer Returns Reusable Bags

Customer selects ‘Return Bag’ and how many bags they are returning. They return the bags which checks them back into the bag system and transports them to the UV cleaning holding chamber.

2- Bag Return

The bag is received by the bag return and taken into the UV cleaning chamber.

3- Employee Receiving Returned Bags

Employee grabs reusable bags from the right side of the UV chamber and checks cleanliness. If the bag is visibly dirty, it gets pulled out to be washed. Employee loads the bags for the order onto the Shopbot.

4- Groceries Going to Lockers

Employee walks up and inserts bag into bag return.

5- Bag Return Accepts Bag

Bag return grabs and registers both the weight and bag code.

6- Selecting a Locker

Employee assigns order to locker by choosing the corresponding number.

7- Groceries Going to Assigned Locker

The groceries are delivered to the assigned locker and notify the customer.

8- Customer Receiving Groceries

Customer walks up and scans QR code on designated scanner ‘A’ or ‘B.’

9- Locating your Groceries

The screen will inform the customer which locker the groceries are at.

10- Small Locker

The locker will pop open with the customer's groceries inside. The reusable bags will be checked out to the customers account to be returned the next time they visit.

11- Large Locker

The larger lockers have one extra rail system so they are able to hold larger orders. They can hold up to 6 reusable bags.
